Blog 1 - How it all started??

 Hey Guys!! I am starting a new series in my blog regarding my weight loss journey and it's ups and downs.This is the 1st blog of that series. I am gonna post a new blog every Sunday of this series called "MY BLISSFUL JOURNEY".


I believe we are who we choose to be, nobody’s gonna come and save you. You have to save yourself!

Let’s rewind to 2017!

For everybody, it’s different!

Nobody knows what you want, except you! Nobody will be Sorry as you, if you don’t change!

Imagine yourself what you want to be 1 month from now or 1 year or 5 years down the line….

Start being Intelligent for the choices you make…!

So, I changed.....it wasn't easy. I'm still on this journey but Here's How I got started...

And yeah! A journey of thousand miles, starts with a single step. So, take that baby step, start your journey.. Journey towards Glowing up 🌟

Here are the steps or rather say milestones that I came across on my journey towards glowing up 

Step 1 - Get Motivated

Read a book, Find a Documentary or Read Quotes.....

Find something to get started!

Get a Realization that you have to change !

Give yourself a reality check....

I got mine at some Dosa Place.....funny right!! 

Me and My family went to some dosa Place and there was a girl sitting next to our table....she looks perfect. The moment I saw her, I got a realization that it has to change (Change the way I look).

So, I urge to my parents, that I need to join gym and explain everything to them.

And you know a Father-daughter Relationship...right!! So, He said that " you look perfect" and there is no need to change anything. And because I am foodie...I should enjoy my life with having the food I love(still love). But somehow I manage to join gym.

Back then, I don't gave much attention to diet and all.

Then, My friends I joined Gym...!

Back to our Glowing up steps ...

Step 2 - Hygiene

Self care is not a luxury, it's a form of survival. It's also a simple way to feel good about your appearance and life.

Some simple reminders are :-

Brush your teeth, Shower, Make your bed every morning, Wear clean clothes, Clean your Room and Wardrobe(mine is always mess😅) , Have some good fragrance around you, Groom your nail and shape up. Look good.. 

A cleaner space means a cleaner mind. 

Step 3 - Eat Clean

That's my friend is............

OK! So being healthy and eating clean was quite hard for me because I am super foodie(Still am).

And earlier, In school, I had canteen and friends....rest you know!

Me and my friends generally went out after school to eat and we know all the best places out!

That was not so good mindset..... All I could think was, Let's go there after school and .....

But, I went gym daily....

Step 4 -Exercise

Bring a sweat with your favorite exercise. Your first workout is gonna feel like hell. But, Give time it'll get better. You'll get stronger.

Later, you'll crave the feel you get while working out.

Personally, I am still not so consistent regarding workout.(BTW I am eating chocolate right now)

Back in 2017, When I joined gym. It feels like hell. I just want to skip every workout session. I just went there, and kill my time. In first two weeks of gym, I get hell lot of muscle cramps and my mother used to do my maalish(Massage). And a fun fact, maalish hurts a lot but I used to laugh while my mother gave me massage.Even I don't know why I laugh at that time??(if you have experienced it, you must know my situation)


Step 5 - Dress Up

Dress up for yourself, Look good for yourself...!

Go get your hair done, Nails done....! Change your hairstyle...!

Sell/Donate your old clothes, Buy some new one...!

Change your style..!

Put on your favorite outfit and maybe some make up.

Earlier, I don't give much importance to dressing up. I used to be in my PJ's every damn day.(but this quarantine made me....we'll talk about this is another blog).

But, It's for your self confidence. So, Dress up well...!

Personally, I love girl boss style...Literally, I am obsessed with it(we'll take this too in another blog).

Last Step, You might mess up.

But I learnt to forgive myself and to rest.

But, Not Quit.

Now, My weight loss goal didn't go exactly I want it to go.

But you just wait and see....

And Remember,

                        THERE IS NO LIMIT TO HOW RADIANT,
                       ALIVE AND IRRESISTIBLE YOU CAN BE. 

*I suggest you to challenge yourself with a one healthy meal of a day and move further.

P.S - If you are reading this, go get yourself a glass of water.

Blog 4 - Dressing Room Anxiety, Dead Week...!

Why to Follow a ROUTINE ??

Change is something, I believe anyone can accomplish; if they are willing to do, what it takes in order to complete the change. Many people have the preconceived notion that you are who you are, and "WHO YOU ARE" has been determined since you were young. But I know that is not true.. Okay! I am not gonna tell that this is what I do in my daily routines. Or you can follow this kind of routine Or That you should wake up early, do workout in early morning. NOOOO...! I am gonna tell why there is need to follow/build a "ROUTINE". The routine you follow is something that makes you, YOU! Yeah, I know! Sticking to a routine is difficult. It always is. But, If you do what you always did, you will always get what you always got. Just like brushing your teeth in morning, adhering to routine allows us to foster habits that match our goals and aspirations.
